Alea iacta est;

Every human, for a short span of time, is part of something we call Earth.
Every other creature is part of this Earth as well.
Nature enfolds us all with its reign of beauty and awe.
 What are we doing with this wonderful thing called the World?
We trample it to death,
We treat all the other creatures badly;
We treat nature badly;
Everything in nature is selfish, the survival of the fittest.
We, humans, demonstrate this trait very well, that we might destroy ourselves in the process does not enter our fantastic plans.
We love ourselves best and the ones which are nearest to us.
Each human creates a sanctuary around  himself,
This restricts compassion for any other living being.
As long as humans are not breaking out of their selfish prison, they will muddle on in a decaying world. Titania

Saecula saeculorum;

For ever and ever
Spring returns with a crystal breeze,
Summer follows awash in blue,
Autumn turns into reddish gold,
Winter aches in a chilling freeze,
For ever and ever   Titania

Saecula saeculorum; for ever and ever;

Minima maxima sunt;

Moonlight, teases  and caresses  the palm leaves swaying  gently to the rhythm of  the cast shadows; the mournful call of the rainbird adds sensuality to the advancing dawn. Titania

Minima maxima sunt;
The smallest things are most important;

Custode et cura natura potentior omni;

Summer
scent of Citriodora
long grey limbs, smooth,
peeling,
stockings crumpled,
foliage,
 fragrance of lemon peel
straight and tall reaching up into
melodramatic shrillness of the cicada’s song.
Titania

Custode et cura natura potentior omni.  Nature is beyond all teaching.

Non sine lumine;

  Gardening hangs on to civilization,
what it wants is freedom from being restrained,
gardening  craves abandon and a little of the wild.
Titania

Dum vivimus, vivamus

Cuban Royal Palm in my garden;

Life’s fragments
Like shattered glass
Crystal prisms cut and sting
No more, never more
It will pass
Titania

Dum vivimus, vivamus - While we live, let us live
(Epicurean philosophy)
