Non est vivere sed valere vita est;

Light and darkness are kin,
Life focuses on both.
A maze of shades from darkness to light
Equal in human existence,
Reveal  and ease  the burden of why and how. Ts

Non est vivere sed valere vita est;  Life means more than just being alive.

O tempora! O mores!

Valanga irregularis; my garden;

Humans have put themselves on a pedestal. Humans are unbelievably arrogant and hypocritical beings.
 Humans cause every other living being immense damage and show no respect at all.
 Damage and destroy each other with wars, killing, maiming, take callously advantage of the weaker.
 Lying about everything  not suited into  humans thinking of their own grand’ness and goodness. Humans can turn atrocities into goodness with a silver tongue.
Humans had the ultimate, brilliant idea to harness gods to sanction or forgive their ugly deeds. Humans  have  invented an eternal life for  themselves. Fortunately nature is kind and treats all the same, ones their greatness on earth has expired. Some may lay in marble sarcophagus clad in robes of gold, some may be thrown into mass graves, in the end nothing changes the make up of the atoms they all will integrate again, crown or no crown, nature does not care for humans alleged greatness. When we are dead we have ceased to live, nature has been much, much cleverer then we are; despite our knowledge, our meddlings,  and the grand medals we give ourselves for our exceptionalism. Ts

O tempora! O mores!
Oh, what times we live in! Oh, what morals!

Sui generis;

Pink rose, old rose of silky hues
gone are the days of dancing under stars;
No foolish laughter, no singing voice
clings to the heavy boughs to pay their dues.

Pink rose, old rose, sad rose
wait for a breath of morning dew;
 Your time and ancient ways
of hope and subtle dreams to woo.

Red rose pink rose, sad rose,
petals fall and withered;
Silver splendour, golden shine
abandoned unconsidered.  Titania

Sui generis "Of its own kind," unique;

Vero nihil verius;

Photo/fungi, my garden;

Doubt and wisdom go hand in hand.
To doubt means to question.
 Questions open  possibilities to find  knowledge and truth. Titania

Science is organized knowledge. Wisdom is organized life.  .Emanuel Kant

Poma aut matura cadunt aut immatura leguntur;

The rose
 a joyful sight
beauty to behold
she blows and fades
 the petals fall
 There she goes.  Titania

Poma aut matura cadunt aut immatura leguntur
Fruits either fall when they are ripe or are gathered before they're ripe.

Alea iacta est;

Every human, for a short span of time, is part of something we call Earth.
Every other creature is part of this Earth as well.
Nature enfolds us all with its reign of beauty and awe.
 What are we doing with this wonderful thing called the World?
We trample it to death,
We treat all the other creatures badly;
We treat nature badly;
Everything in nature is selfish, the survival of the fittest.
We, humans, demonstrate this trait very well, that we might destroy ourselves in the process does not enter our fantastic plans.
We love ourselves best and the ones which are nearest to us.
Each human creates a sanctuary around  himself,
This restricts compassion for any other living being.
As long as humans are not breaking out of their selfish prison, they will muddle on in a decaying world. Titania

Alea iacta est. The die is cast.

Saecula saeculorum;

For ever and ever
Spring returns with a crystal breeze,
Summer follows awash in blue,
Autumn turns into reddish gold,
Winter aches in a chilling freeze,
For ever and ever   Titania
